Editions are built in runs, not held in a warehouse. Here's what happens between your order and the box on your porch.
What to expect
Every pair is made to order. Nothing is held in a warehouse — your boots are built once the run goes into production.
You reserve. Your order is placed against a specific edition and size. You're charged at the time of ordering.
The run goes into production — made to order. Lasting, welting, the embroidery and the laser-cut leather overlays are all done by hand. This is the part that takes the time, and it's the part you're paying for.
We ship. Tracking goes out the day your pair is quality checked and leaves our warehouse.

Why it takes time
A welt is a stitched construction, not a glued one. The upper, the welt and the insole are sewn together, then the outsole is stitched to the welt. That's what makes the boot resoleable years from now, and it's what makes it slow to build today.
The school mark adds a step on top of that. The leather overlay is laser-cut and the embroidery worked on the shaft before the boot is assembled, one pair at a time.
